I found a lot to like, but I think it's going to come down to what happens in the second book in the series, Second Grave on the Left. I mean, Reyes is the son of Satan and anyone associated with him would be considered big fat liars. Charley received new warnings about him and you are always left wondering how true these warnings are. Second Grave on the Left begins almost immediately after the events that occurred in First Grave on the Right. Did I become a fan of Charley Davidson while reading First Grave on the Right? I wasn't sure what to make of Reyes in the first book, he started to grow on me towards the end but it wasn't until Second Grave on the Left that he really had me hooked.
